The first week of the NFL season featured plenty of excitement and upsets. The Bucs were the league’s biggest surprise of the week after beating the Saints 48-40 in New Orleans.
Here’s a rundown of last week’s picks as well as what’s in store for this week:
Biggest surprise pick of Week 1: Jon Marchant showed off his usual genius and was the only member of the crew to pick the Chiefs over the Chargers.
Nailed it: Bucs Nation went 4-0 last week when everyone choose the same team to win.
This week’s unanimous picks: The Texans, Saints, Chargers, 49ers, and Rams were picked by all staff members to win.
This week’s toss ups: The Chiefs vs Steelers, Eagles at Bucs, Panthers at Falcons, Patriots at Jags, and Seahawks at Bears were all picked on a (5-4) vote as to who will win those games.
Two number one’s, but only one last place: Kyle Marks and Evan Winter are tied atop the standings at (11-4-1) while David Harrison is all by himself at the bottom. They always say you see the most improvement from Week 1 to Week 2....
The Lone Wolf: Kyle Marks is sticking his neck out on two different occasions while flying solo with the Browns and the Lions. Can he double up Marchant’s Week 1 effort?
