Buccaneers CB Vernon Hargreaves III injured his shoulder breaking up a pass in Sunday’s win over the Saints. Immediately after he was taken to the locker room and didn’t return to the game. Now, it sounds as if the injury is far worse than many believed at first.
According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Hargreaves is seeking a second opinion from renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews;
CB Vernon Hargreaves may have a serious shoulder injury and will be examined by Dr. James Andrews Wednesday. No determination will be made until he receives a second opinion from Andrews but it doesn't sound good.

Some have already said they’ve heard that he may be done for the season, but those reports may be a bit premature.
**UPDATE**
ESPN’s Adam Schefter states VHIII’s injury is potentially season ending.
Buccaneers’ CB Vernon Hargreaves suffered a potentially season-ending shoulder injury Sunday and is getting a second opinion Wednesday from Dr. James Andrews to see exactly how long he will miss, per @john_keim and me.
