Buccaneers announce roster moves

Tampa Bay has added a defensive tackle.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that the team has signed defensive tackle Nathan Bazata and waived (injured) cornerback David Rivers.

Bazata (6-2, 284) is a native of Howells, Nebraska and played collegiately at Iowa. In 2017, Bazata earned honorable-mention All-Big Ten honors from the league’s coaches and media after starting 13 games, totaling 51 tackles (6.5 for loss), three sacks and one pass defensed.
