With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just over a week away from taking the field, MyBookie.ag has some prop bets fans of the teams can get into.
Gambling on sports has always been around, but with the continued growth in fantasy football and the rise of prop bets, there are more ways than ever to get into the fun without putting your rent check on the line. Unless you’re into that sort of thing.
Here are some of my favorite team specific prop bets from MyBookie.ag for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
1. Will the Bucs make the playoffs?
Yes - 17/4 No - 3/20
With the way the team has looked in the pre-season, I’m leaning ‘yes’ on this just a bit more than I’m leaning towards ‘no’. The first three games are huge, but with all three opponents missing key players, Tampa Bay has an opportunity to shock the league.

2. Regular Season Wins - o/u 7.5
If a playoff prediction is too rich for you, how about a win prediction? The league is designed for every team to go 8-8, right? I’m taking the over on this.
3. Will Mike Evans have at least five touchdown catches?
My answer here is, yes. A big yes. Although the Bucs have a lot of weapons available, Evans is still the big man on campus physically and in status. I just can’t imagine one of the best receivers in the league being held under five scores outside of injury.

4. Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Ronald Jones II - 18/1 Vita Vea - 20/1
I don’t think I’d take these bets, to be honest. Jones hasn’t exactly busted onto the scene, but he’s still got time to figure it out. Vea has been dealing with pre-season injuries, and with the way the defensive line has improved through the first three weeks, he may become a footnote in this first season.
5. Will Dirk Koetter be the first coach fired? - 5/1
If and when this team solidifies an even or worse record (Eight losses) there isn’t even a reason to discuss Koetter getting fired. A winning record will make speculation high, but he could survive. A playoff berth and you can book him for 2019. Even if the Buccaneers do cut ties history shows it’ll likely be at the end of the year. Save your money on this one.
