A potential massive blow to the Buccaneers offensive line occurred in today’s practice as left tackle Donovan Smith went down with an apparent right knee injury. Smith has not missed a start since entering the league three years ago. Smith can be seen in the clip below attempting to walk off with much help from trainers.

Tampa Bay has to hope for some positive news to what otherwise appears to be a bad injury. We’ll be keeping an eye on this situation closely and hope to get an update after practice on Smith as well as safety Justin Evans, who was also reportedly injured.
Evans was carted off the field shortly before Donovan Smith went down according to Pewter Report. This would be a huge blow to a blossoming young safety that the Bucs plan to lean on heavily.
With injuries mounting up for this Buccaneer team, the regular season can’t come soon enough.
#Bucs S Justin Evans also left practice with some sort of injury. He was carted back to the training room just before Donovan Smith went down.
