Jameis Winston probably just played his best quarter of football since he has arrived in Tampa Bay. Winston, played the whole second quarter and had three total drives, all ending in scores.

Winston, finished the second quarter with 226 passing yards, on 13 of 18 and also threw for two touchdowns. Through two preseason games now, Winston is 24 of 31 for 328 yards and two touchdowns. This is the type of play that the Buccaneers need from Winston on a consistent basis if they want to compete in the NFC this season.

We saw good poise in the pocket from Winston and finally a deep completion to DeSean Jackson. After this performance, all the Teddy Bridgewater to Tampa Bay talk should die down.

Like him or not, Winston looks poised to make a huge leap this year, but that leap will have to wait until week four.
