After going down during the first practice drill during Sunday’s training camp session, Buccaneers rookie defensive tackle Vita Vea limped off the field but was eventually carted off. Later on, it was reported that the team felt it was not as serious as they feared.
However, Vea was seen going on out onto the field with a boot Tuesday morning.

Certainly not what you want to see for the first round pick out of Washington. Still, the team remains hopeful as head coach Dirk Koetter provided an update.

That’s a sigh of relief, for now.
**UPDATE**
It looks like Vea will miss some considerable time during camp.
