The talk of the town surrounding the Buccaneers today was Jameis Winston and his session in front of the media that turned into a frenzy over his past statements and current situation that has him sitting out the first three weeks. While this was going on, Gerald McCoy was busy getting in extra work with some teammates. This man deserves some love as his leadership has been put through the ringer over his tenure here in Tampa Bay. Thomas Bassinger (@tometrics) of the @TB_Times captured this short clip below.

Found among the group working with McCoy above are the likes of Vita Vea, Demone Harris and Kiante Anderson. It doesn’t get much better than staying late and learning from one of the best defensive lineman in the game, a testament to who McCoy is as a player, teammate and leader on this Buccaneer defense. Big things are expected of this defensive front that has been completely revamped and re-energized with talent. We look forward to seeing a much different front seven in Tampa Bay this season. As always, Go Bucs!
