Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss has had his fair share of troubles when he was younger playing in the NFL. While training receivers in Tampa, Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston was also among the players getting ready for training camp. So it’s natural that he would talk to Winston about the young quarterback’s latest off-the-field mishap.
Fox 13’s Kevin O’Donnell caught up with Moss as he was training the players and was asked about his message to the Bucs’ franchise quarterback.
“He’s doing things right, he has a bump on the road. Does something right then a bump on the road. Man just continue to fight, it happens,” Moss said. “What he does was wrong. I’m not sitting up here saying it was right or wrong. There was a woman involved and I’m not going to get into all that. What he did was wrong. He knows it was wrong.”
Moss would also add that it’s up to Winston to live and learn and move on from it. You can see the interview below.
