Bucs Nation, allow me to re-introduce myself

A new writer joins Bucs Nation!

My name is David Harrison. OK, so it doesn’t flow as well as Jay-Z did when he used the line, but I think you get the picture.

Today marks my first day with SB Nation’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers arm, Bucs Nation. As you know, it’s one of the best – if not THE best – place to get Bucs news, analysis, opinion and conversation.

What makes Bucs Nation so special from the outside looking in has been you, the reader. Reader interaction is a big part of why I was so excited when Gil Arcia offered me the opportunity to come be a part of what is happening over here.

For those who don’t know me, I’m coming over from FanSided’s Bucs page, The Pewter Plank. I was there for two and half years having started in December of 2015 and I’ve been writing about the Bucs for the last four years steadily.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers themselves are my main topic of conversation obviously, but beyond that I really like to dig into player evaluations. This means draft and free-agency are two of my favorite topics to discuss.

I’m the guy who gets just as excited for the new league year as I do for the start of the regular season.

Honestly, I’m a football guy, period. So don’t hesitate to discuss any football matter you’d like.

Having such an interactive group of readers is a new wrinkle in doing this which I look forward to becoming a part of. Of course, I also interact regularly over on Twitter and look forward to meeting some of you there as well.

My bio has been updated if you want to learn even more about me.

Again, I’m incredibly happy to be joining the Bucs Nation team prior to the 2018 NFL Regular Season. Thanks for reading and Go Bucs!
