With recent reports and unconfirmed minimal details of Jameis Winston’s suspension, there are fans and members of the media that are trying to run him out of Tampa Bay without all the facts.
The Buccaneers, on the other hand, are waiting for the league to conclude their investigation and provide them with details of their findings so they can make a decision on his fate. This according to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington.
In the video report below, Darlington states that the Bucs are in a tough spot because they are not making any statements or decisions until the NFL has presented them with their findings. He also adds that they are waiting for the NFL’s word to see what they are suspending Winston for and not focused on reports or what Brandon Brooks’ attorney said about the Uber rides, per conversations he’s had with the team.
Darlington also adds that ownership backs Winston even with this situation, but again, that can change with what the NFL has uncovered.
