I have to laugh.
It wasn’t too long ago that Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio took a jab at Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston. That has since changed a bit.
As a refresher, he said that no other team would want him if the Bucs parted ways with their franchise quarterback. Now he has since retracted those comments — sort of — but clarified his statement by saying that it was basically a hypothetical if the team were to let him go right now.
Anyhow, he now seems to acknowledge Winston’s talent some more when talking about rookie running back Ronald Jones II getting 15-20 carries per game in the video below. He states that the offense can be very good with Jones out of the backfield while throwing in Winston. He also described the video post as the Buccaneers having a balanced running attack to complement a “ potentially prolific” passing attack.
(There’s no prolific passing attack without Winston. But no one would sign him? K...)
