Buccaneers sign second-rounder Carlton Davis

The Auburn product signs his rookie deal.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has signed cornerback Carlton Davis, the third of Tampa Bay’s three second-round picks in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Davis (6-1, 206) was selected 63rd overall, out of Auburn. During his three seasons with the Tigers, Davis started 32-of-38 games, totaling 138 tackles (4.5 for loss), 33 passes defensed, four interceptions, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. In 2017, Davis was a first-team All-America selection by and earned second-team All-America honors from Walter Camp, the Associated Press and the American Football Coaches Association, while also being chosen as first-team All-SEC by the league’s coaches.
