The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has signed wide receiver Bernard Reedy.
Reedy (5-9, 175) played in nine games for Tampa Bay last season, before being waived and signing with the New England Patriots, where he played in two games and spent time on the team’s practice squad. He also spent time with New England this offseason. In 11 total games last season, Reedy caught two passes for 21 yards and rushed three times for 17 yards, while returning 18 punts for 175 yards and seven kickoffs for 145 yards. A St. Petersburg native, Reedy played collegiately at Toledo.
The team also announced that wide receiver Thomas Sperbeck has been waived/injury waiver.
