Buccaneers rookies get numbers assigned to them

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have officially assigned jersey numbers to their rookies.

First round pick Vita Vea will wear No. 50 which was unveiled during his introductory presser last Friday. But the team’s senior writer and editor Scott Smith shared the roster numbers via his Twitter account.

• Carlton Davis - 33
• Alex Cappa - 65
• Jordan Whitehead - 31
• Justin Watson - 17
• Jack Cichy - 41

Some notable UDFA numbers include quarterback Austin Allen wearing No. 8, safety Godwin Igwebuike with No. 34, and defensive end Antonio Simmons donning No. 95. You can check out the rest of the roster numbers on the team’s updated roster page.
