Buccaneers’ franchise quarterback Jameis Winston was out in the Tampa Bay community doing some good things once again.
On Tuesday, he unveiled a technology center for students at Alexander Elementary School in Tampa.
Jameis Winston’s Dream Room, a community outreach program of Jameis Winston’s Dream Forever Foundation, transforms a classroom or area in a school into a new state-of-the-art technology center to expand personal learning opportunities and provide career exploration for its students.
The Dream Room will provide students with technology and expert guidance that will enable students to explore, tinker, design and invent. The Dream Room will include a “MakerSpace” that will enable students to prototype their new product ideas using a variety of tools and materials such as software, 3D printers, electronics, robotics and more.
Below are a couple videos from the unveiling. Videos are courtesy of Greg Auman’s Twitter account from the Tampa Bay Times.
