Tampa Bay has drafted an interested prospect. With the 202nd pick, the Bucs select Wisconsin linebacker Jack Cichy.

Why is it interesting? Quick search for information on Cichy includes praises for his ability to get into the opponents backfield. He was very good at getting tackles for loss and bringing down quarterbacks. Unfortunately, he missed all of last year due to a knee injury.

NFL Media’s Lance Zierlein compares Cichy to Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Nick Vigil. Below is his breakdown of Whitehead on NFL.com.

It doesn’t take much tape work to be impressed by Cichy’s instincts and quickness to flow to the ball. It does, however, take a lot of searching to find what you need to study Cichy since he didn’t play in the Badger’s last 20 games due to injury. When healthy, Cichy’s intelligence and consistency are big attractions at the position, but his lack of explosiveness and durability concerns could hurt his draft stock. Cichy projects as an NFL backup who will help immediately on special teams.

Check out the tweet below from Wisconsin showing a quick video of Cichy in action.
