The Buccaneers are heading into the back-end of free agency where players become less expensive. It’s also a time where teams can sure up their special teams.
Tampa Bay has had a decent kick return game in 2017 as they were third overall in the league averaging 24.8 yards per return. That is not stopping them from bringing in someone who can run back kicks successfully.

Cunningham led the Chicago Bears in special teams tackles with 12 and averaged just under 27 yards per kick return.
This can be exciting, depending on how you look at it. If you liked the potential Charles Sims always presented with catching out of the backfield, Cunningham will give you that same satisfaction.
Cunningham, 27, averaged 8.8 yards per reception in his five-year career. His lone season in Chicago in 2017, the veteran caught 20 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, he had nine carries for for just 29 yards.
