Folks have been wanting the Bucs to keep strengthening the defensive line and they have done just that.
On Thursday, Tampa Bay pulls off a trade with the New York Giants to acquire veteran defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul. ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news on Twitter.
Another blockbuster trade: Giants trading DE Jason Pierre-Paul and a 2018 fourth-round pick to Buccaneers for a 2018 third-round pick and a fourth-round pick, source tells ESPN.

Paul, 29, finished the 2017 season with 8.5 sacks and has 15.5 sacks the past two seasons. Pairing him with Gerald McCoy and the revamped defensive line, including Vinny Curry, will pay dividends for the Buccaneers.
Paul returns to Tampa where he played for the University of South Florida.
The move now opens the door to many possibilities in this year’s upcoming NFL Draft. The possibility of trading down and getting back another third-rounder becomes a strong possibility.
