The wait, stress, and anxiety for Bucs fans is finally over — sort of. A somewhat quiet free agency thus far just had the volume raised a bit as multiple reports confirm that free agent center Ryan Jensen has chose to sign with Tampa Bay.

Jensen visited the Buccaneers on Thursday before flying up to Indianapolis to meet with the Colts. After meeting with both teams, Jensen appears to have slept on both offers Thursday evening before deciding on Friday on the Bucs.
The 26-year-old Jensen played in Baltimore since 2013 after being drafted by the Ravens in the sixth round. He started all 16 games for them in 2017.
Ali Marpet is now expected to move back to guard after the team experimented with him at center last season. This is a good move in the sense that the Bucs gain two positions with one move in that they upgrade the center and guard positions, especially after J.R. Sweezy’s up and down 2017 campaign.
