Dallas has controlled the series

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be visiting the Dallas Cowboys in a matchup between two NFC teams Sunday.

The Cowboys are currently 8-6 and vying for an NFC East title, while the Buccaneers are 5-9 and likely heading towards another regime change in the off-season.

The Cowboys are coming off a 24-0 road loss to the Indianapolis Colts, in a game that looked like they had no real interest in playing.

The Buccaneers are also riding a two game losing streak after a 20-12 loss in Baltimore last Sunday.

Both of these teams are familiar with each other and have played a total of 18 times throughout the years. The Cowboys have a commanding lead on the Buccaneers for all-time series wins, but here are some of the series stats.

Last game: Dallas ended Tampa Bays five game winning streak in 2016 with a 26-20 win on Sunday night football. Essentially, the Cowboys ended the Buccaneers season.

Last five games: The Cowboys are 4-1 against the Buccaneers

All time record: The Buccaneers are 4-14 against the Cowboys and are 1-11 on the road against Dallas.

Scoring history: The Dallas Cowboys average 20.4 PPG against Tampa Bay, while the Buccaneers average 13.6 PPG.

Look for the Cowboys to try and establish the run, much like Baltimore did last weekend against the Buccaneers. It will be another interesting test for Jameis Winston as the Cowboys defense is top five in the league.
