Buccaneers, Ravens history

Baltimore has gotten the best of Tampa Bay.

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Giants Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

The 5-8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be visiting the 7-6 Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Both teams are coming off of loses, but the Ravens have a legitimate change to not only make the playoffs as a wild card, but as a division winner.

The Buccaneers are coming off a tough home loss to the New Orleans Saints, while the Ravens lost to the Chiefs 27-24 in OT.

Since Lamar Jackson took over as starter, the Ravens are 3-1 and have rushed for over 194 yards in every single game. The Buccaneers defense must keen in on stopping the run if they want a chance to win this game.

The Buccaneers and Ravens have only met a total of five times in the past, so both teams aren’t all that familiar with each other.

Here are how the Buccaneers have fared in the previous meetings.

Last game: Baltimore won 48-17 in Tampa Bay. Joe Flacco looked like Tom Brady.

Previous five games: Baltimore ravens lead the series 3-2.

Last Buccaneers win against ravens?: 2002. What a good season that was.

Total points scored: Ravens (102) Buccaneers (74).
