Bucs vs 49ers: Week 12 Initial Injury Report

The initial injury report has been released and the Bucs’ list is quite extensive

NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Buccaneers and 49ers have released their first injury report of the week ahead of their match-up this coming Sunday and for the second week in a row, the Bucs’ list of players is rather long.

The Buccaneers had fourteen players listed including five that didn’t participate. M.J. Stewart, Jordan Whitehead, Jason Pierre-Paul, Lavonte David, and Justin Evans were all held out of practice for various ailments. David, Stewart, and Evans of course missed the game against the Giants last week and we’ve seen JPP listed as DNP on Wednesdays throughout the season.

If the Bucs aren’t able to get Whitehead or Evans on the field Sunday, the safety position will be the weakest we’ve seen in a long while. David missing for a second week in a row could also prove extremely problematic with tight end George Kittle and running back Matt Bredia coming to town.

Here is the full injury report;
