Buccaneers-Bengals all-time matchup

Another weekly historical look.

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Cincinnati Bengals Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

Another week and another road game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This will be the team’s fourth road game this season and they have another next week as well. That’s tough sledding for a team who is a shell of itself on the road then it is at home.

This week, Tampa Bay will be traveling to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium. These two teams aren’t all that familiar with each other being from different conferences, but they have played a total of 11 times since 1976.

This is one of the few all-time matchups that the Buccaneers actually have a winning record in.

All-time Matchup record: Tampa Bay leads series 7-4.

Last five match ups: Tampa bay has won four of the last five including three in Cincinnati.

Tampa Bay’s record in Cincinnati: 5-2.

Last game: Cincinnati beat Tampa Bay 14-13 in Tampa.

All-time scoring: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 213, Cincinnati Bengals 196.

The Buccaneers will try and pick up their eight series win on Sunday and put the Bengals on a three game overall skid.
