Week 6 Buccaneers at Falcons: Thursday Injury Report

With the weekend fast approaching and the Buccaneers coming off a bye, let’s take a look at how the team fares on the injury front.

The Buccaneers are continuing to hold out hope that the likes of Jordan Whitehead and Beau Allen return to action against the Falcon’s offense this week and today’s injury report continues to look positive for that to happen. Allen again was a limited participant while Jordan Whitehead was a full participant for the second day in a row.

O.J. Howard showing limited participation for the second day in a row while nursing his MCL injury from the prior game is another positive sign for the team and the high powered offense that Jameis Winston will be tasked with taking over this week. Marcus Williams was however downgraded from Limited to Did Not Participate for the Buccaneers, the lone change from Wednesday’s report to Thursday’s.

For the Falcons, there were no changes on their injury report Thursday which bodes well for the Buccaneers as Devonta Freeman and Grady Jarrett were again unable to practice. Jarrett possibly missing will be a relief for the Buccaneers offensive interior that will look to get the ground game off and running with some consistency for the first time this season.
