The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have at least two players at the Pro Bowl this year, instead of just one. Linebacker Kwon Alexander was just added to the 2018 Pro Bowl roster, replacing injured Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner.
Alexander had 97 tackles and three interceptions this season, earning him his first Pro Bowl appearance. It is a bit surprising that he made it in over Lavonte David, though: David racked up five forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries in what was a strong return to form for the veteran linebacker. David could make it in depending on who else drops out of the Pro Bowl, whether it’s because they play in the Super Bowl or because they’re injured.
Alexander and potentially David join Gerald McCoy, who was voted into the Pro Bowl for the sixth consecutive year. You can catch them on Sunday, January 28, at 3:00 p.m. when the Pro Bowl will be played in Orlando, Florida.
