The Tampa Bay Buccaneers played their first game of the 2017 NFL season on Sunday, which means we’re back to injury reports that are actually filled with players. You can’t play games and stay entirely healthy, after all.

Unfortunately for the Bucs, today’s injury report contains some bad news: linebacker Kwon Alexander (hamstring) and defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (ankle) were both missing from practice. It’s not clear how serious their injuries are, though Alexander had to leave Sunday’s game with his hamstring injury early on. Having to play without either player would be a pretty big blow for Tampa Bay.

In addition, cornerback Brent Grimes was limited with a shoulder injury, while both defensive tackle Chris Baker and defensive end Jacquies Smith were absent with an illness—that shouldn’t threaten their participation on Sunday, though.

As for the Minnesota Vikings, their main injured player is Sam Bradford who was listed as limited with a knee injury today. That tells us nothing new: Bradford’s limited knee injury also kept him out of last game, and we don’t know whether he’ll be recovered in time for Sunday’s game.
