The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have claimed tackle Marquis Lucas off and waived tackle Austin Albrecht. They signed Albrecht just two days ago. Life is dark and full of errors.
Lucas was an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia last year, and has spent time with the Buffalo Bills, Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons since then, but wasn’t on any team’s regular season roster.
The Bucs could use some tackle depth with Demar Dotson out for now, as it’s still unclear how serious Dotson’s injury really is. Lucas would give them that, though it’s unlikely for an undrafted free agent signed this late in the preseason to actually make a regular season roster—he might stick on the practice squad, though.
