NFL Draft 2017: What is the Buccaneers’ biggest need?

New, comments
NFL: Combine Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will get one more chance to really add some quality players to their roster this offseason, in the 2017 NFL draft. After that, they’ll be stuck adding whatever free agents are left, and potentially (but almost certainly not) trading for a someone who can provide a quality boost.

For now, the draft will have to do. Which means they’ll have to decide which needs to address first. The Bucs have clear needs at safety and tight end, and could use a defensive end and strongside linebacker as well. Some depth at defensive tackle is another possibility, while running back remains a giant question mark.

Of course, need isn’t the only thing determining how the Bucs will draft. They’ll also look at the available players — safety’s a big need, but it seems unlikely they’ll find a fit at that position in the first round. They may go with a defensive end even though it’s not a massive need, simply because there are quite a few good players at that position.

Still, which position do you think the Bucs should address first?
