The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are bringing in running back Dalvin Cook for a visit, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The Florida State draft prospect has been repeatedly mocked to the Bucs, who may have a need for a back, depending on how they view Doug Martin.
#FloridaSt RB Dalvin Cook is flying down to Tampa to visit the #Bucs, source said. They continue to explore options at that position.

The Bucs have shown interest in a number of running backs this draft season, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise. Lately it seems more and more likely that Cook falls to the Bucs, as a series of minor off-field incidents and some on-field question marks have dropped his draft stock.
Overall, though, Cook remains a very strong prospect and is likely to be selected in the second half of the first round. Which makes him a good target for the Bucs, if they want to take a running back that high. That’ll depend on how they view Doug Martin’s likely availability and improvement this season, as well as the rest of the running back draft class.
