Saints-Buccaneers: TV schedule, odds, date, time, announcers, streaming and more

Everything you need to know to watch today’s game.

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

One more game, and then the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ season is finally over. The Bucs were eliminated from the playoffs long ago, and the main question was whether Dirk Koetter could win enough games to save his job. Turns out he didn’t need to win: the Bucs decided on Friday to keep their head coach.

That makes today’s game against the New Orleans Saints particularly meaningless for the Bucs, who stand to lose or gain a few spots in the 2017 NFL draft—and that’s about it. Of course, a win would give them some positive feeling, and it’s a lot more fun to watch a win, but in terms of tangible implications: nada.

That’s different for the Saints, who need a win to clinch the division. They’re tied with the Carolina Panthers at 11-4, and the latter face the Atlanta Falcons today. The Saints can’t win a round one bye in the playoffs, but winning the division would at least give them home field advantage and a better playoff seed.
