Jameis Winston has been back for all of one drive, and he’s already showing why he’s the starter instead of Ryan Fitzpatrick. He completed four of five passes for 60 yards and this beautiful touchdown, with a little help from Cameron Brate.

The Bucs have struggled to turn yards into touchdowns, but no such thing here—which is exactly why Winston is a better player than Fitzpatrick.
Some folks were questioning that, given that the Bucs had won two out of their three games with Fitzpatrick at the helm while Winston was dealing with a shoulder injury. But those were part luck, part defense, and only a little Fitzpatrick—who’s far too inconsistent rely on, anyway.
Speaking of that shoulder injury, it looks like Winston has fully healed. Which is why he’s starting now. Hopefully that shoulder injury won’t bother him going forward, and he can keep on throwing touchdowns.
