Buccaneers-Packers inactives: Seven injured inactives for the Bucs

Joe Hawley has been ruled out at the last minute.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have to face the Green Bay Packers today with a thoroughly reshuffled offensive line. Center Joe Hawley was just declared out for the game with an illness, making him the third starting lineman to be ruled out for the game. Earlier this week, the Bucs placed center Ali Marpet and right tackle Demar Dotson on injured reserve.

With those three players out, the Bucs will turn to Evan Smith at center, Kevin Pamphile at left guard, and Caleb Benenoch at right tackle. The Bucs will also have to replace Doug Martin (concussion), safety T.J. Ward (concussion), cornerback Vernon Hargreaves (hamstring), defensive tackle Clinton McDonald (back) and defensive end Robert Ayers (concussion). Ouch.

In fact, for the first time this season the entire inactive list is populated with injured or otherwise incapacitated players.

In better news, wide receiver De Sean Jackson and tight end Cameron Brate will play. So Jameis Winston may not have protection, but he will have weapons to throw to.

Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers are almost entirely healthy, with cornerback Kevin King being the only player inactive due to injury. Of course, they do have Aaron Rodgers on injured reserve, and placed running back Ty Montgomery on that list, too.

Buccaneers inactives: DE Robert Ayers, CB Vernon Hargreaves, C Joe Hawley, RB Doug Martin DT Clinton McDonald, S Josh Robinson, S T.J. Ward.

Packers inactives: CB Kevin King, CB Donatello Brown, G Lucas Patrick, G/T Adam Pankey, WR Michael Clark, DT Montravius Adams, LB Chris Odom
