The Tampa Bay Buccaneers haven’t ruled any player out for today, with every player on the 53-manr roster practicing at least in limited fashion today. That’s what Dirk Koetter told the media, at least, when asked whether he’ll rule out any players for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
“No, I don’t think so. We’ve got some guys that are going to come down to the wire. I think everybody did something today. Everybody did a little bit of work, so it’s just going to come down to guys that feel like they can really cut it loose on game day. We will see how that works out. We’ve still got over 48 hours until kickoff.”
That means DeSean Jackson and Cameron Brate are likely to play, at least, as both have at least two days of limited practice behind them. Defensive end Robert Ayers also practiced today, for the third day in a row, so he should play and give the Saints a good run for their money.
The only players whose participation is seriously in doubt are likely wide receiver Chris Godwin and linebacker Devante Bond, both of whom at least missed the first two days of practice. Whether they’ll play on Sunday remains to be seen.
