The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have two weeks left to salvage some of their reputation this year, and they face the Carolina Panthers today. The two teams have mirror image records: the Bucs are 4-10, while the Panthers are 10-4.
That should not make for a competitive game, which is why the Bucs are 9.5-point underdogs in the betting markets. Part of that is due to the Bucs’ severe rash of injuries: they placed five players on injured reserve this week, and DeSean Jackson and Robert Ayers have also been ruled out.
Don’t count out the Bucs yet, though. They may be up against stiff odds, but this is a division game, and the team has come close to winning each of the past three games. They haven’t been blown out in a while and keep playing competitive games—at some point, they’re going to get lucky and actually walk away with one.
Will that be today? We’ll find out. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the game.
