Update: O.J. Howard has also been ruled questionable to return with an ankle injury, after returning to play earlier.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are being hit hard with injuries as the end of the season nears. While playing the Atlanta Falcons, tight end Cameron Brate suffered a knee injury. He was listed questionable to return.

That’s not the only injury the Bucs are dealing with. Cornerback Robert McClain is being evaluated for a concussion, which means they’re already iffy depth at the position is rapidly turning non-existent. DeSean Jackson was getting treatment on his left foot, while O.J. Howard got hit in the knee and had an ice pad on it, though at least those two players continued to play.

Hopefully none of this is too serious in the long run, but the Bucs are certainly getting hit hard in the short term. And that’s with Gerald McCoy and Lavonte David already out—something that’s particularly noticeable, as the Bucs defense has been largely powerless against the Falcons offense in this game.
