The 2-6 Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the 4-5 New York Jets today, as the former try to save their coach’s job and the latter hope to grasp on to their very small playoff chances.

The Bucs will be without Jameis Winston today, as he’s dealing with a shoulder injury. Instead, former Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick will start against his old team. Fitzpatrick was absolutely awful last season, which is why the Jets didn’t want to retain him. Now they’re stuck with Josh McCown, though—a former Bucs quarterback, who is also not actually any good.

So yeah, battle of the terrible quarterbacks. Good fun.

The Bucs will have to punch above their weight to win this game: they’re two-point underdogs, even though they’re playing in their own stadium. History isn’t kind to them either, as the Jets have won all but one of the 11 games the two teams have played against each other.
