Jameis Winston doesn’t look great early on against the New England Patriots, which is a bit of a theme for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback. Usually when he has these early-game struggles in big games he’ll settle down toward the end of the first half.
In the mean time, though, all those wild throws aren’t helping the Bucs offense, but they sure are giving his receivers opportunities to make spectacular catches. Like DeSean Jackson does here.

Look at that toe tap! Is that not a thing of absolutely beauty? Now if only the Bucs could get the ball to him deep, or in space. Anywhere where he can use his speed, really. Ah well.
Bonus footage: Doug Martin is back and making the Patriots defense look mightily silly.
Incredible how tight he makes that turn pic.twitter.com/jm0MMCBRIY

This run was ruled down at the one-yard line on review, but he pounded it into the endzone on the very next play. The Bucs lead 7-3 midway through the second quarter.
