The Tampa Bay Buccaneers haven’t done much against the Carolina Panthers, but Chris Conte at least gave them a highlight reel play by picking off Cam Newton on third down early in the second half. Look at this move:

That’s a great job undercutting Ed Dickson’s route at just the right time—and of coming down with the football, which isn’t always easy.
Conte’s been much-maligned by Bucs fans, but he’s been okay this season. With Justin Evans manning the deep midfield position, Conte has been getting more time in the box and that seems to suit him. He’s made an impact in the run game, and has shown up in the passing game. He’s never going to be an All-Pro safety, but he’s okay in this role.
The Bucs are still down 10-0, and the interception led to a punt and no points, but at least they’ve started to make some plays. Now if only they can get some points, they might stand a chance of winning.
