Latest NFL Power rankings say the Bucs are terrible

Deja vu for Bucs fans.

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Buffalo Bills Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are eh....not good. Three straight losses will make that plenty clear, as it has to those few power rankers who weren’t convinced of that fact yet.

So, yup, everyone thinks the Bucs suck now. SB Nation’s Adam Stites has them all the way down at number 26, and most other writers aren’t far off. ESPN has them 23rd, which is somehow up two spots from last week. The Washington Post’s Mark Maske ranked them 28th, the Sporting News’ Ron Clements 25th, Yahoo! Sports’ Frank Schwab 27th, and The MMQB 23rd.

With three losses in a row, only one of them against good teams and none of them flattering, the Bucs have had a pretty rotten run here. A run that’s almost knocked them out of the division race, though at least the fact that they haven’t played any of their division rivals yet gives them a small sliver of hope.
