The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got some good news today: linebacker Kwon Alexander practiced in full, which presumably means he’ll be able to play on Sunday when the Bucs face the Buffalo Bills. Alexander has been out since the middle of the team’s first game this season, so that’s a pretty big boost.
Of course, everyone’s more interested in Jameis Winston. To which we can say: there is no real news. Winston was at practice and participated, but did not throw. This was expected—he’s likely to pass up throwing tomorrow as well. This all means very little for his availability on Sunday, which is still very possible.
Other than that, the Bucs are mostly healthy. A few players were limited on Wednesday, but the injuries are not expected to keep them out for Sunday’s game. Only defensive end Ryan Russell failed to practice.
As for the Buffalo Bills, they were missing tight end Charles Clay and linebacker Ramon Humber at practice on Wednesday. The former’s likely to miss Sunday’s game, which will hurt their passing game.
