Mike Evans is not wearing gloves and still making defenders look silly

Evans has no need for your silly hand clothing.

Mike Evans is one of the best receivers in the NFL, whether he’s wearing gloves or not. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers star receiver decided to go bare-handed to start the game, and caught both of Jameis Winston’s first two passes for 18 yards and a sweet, sweet touchdown.

No glove, no problem!

It’s not clear why Evans isn’t wearing gloves—he usually has them on—though perhaps the pouring rain has something to do with that. If that’s the case we should see him going back to the gloves pretty soon, as that rain has since stopped.

Update: Evans indeed put the gloves on after the rain stopped.

Oh, also, the guy he’s embarrassing there? That’s Eli Apple, last year’s tenth overall pick. No match for Evans, at all. Even without gloves.
