The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will suit up against the New York Giants without starting linebackers Lavonte David and Kwon Alexander, as well as Pro Bowl safety T.J. Ward. Other than those three players, though, the Bucs are entirely healthy.
Most notably, cornerback Brent Grimes will play after missing last week’s game. Defensive end Jacquies Smith will also play for the first time since game one of 2016 (!), while defensive tackle Chris Baker returns from the flu and defensive end Noah Spence plays through a shoulder injury.
Kendell Beckwith should replace Kwon Alexander at middle linebacker, while Devante Bond will get the first start of his career in Lavonte David’s place. Adarius Glanton should play opposite Bond.
Meanwhile, the New York Giants are largely healthy. Most notably, defensive end Olivier Vernon will play despite struggling to get on the field in practice this week. The same is true for linebacker Jonathan Casillas. The only injured Giant who will miss the game is running back Orleans Darkwa.
