This is the Buccaneers 2016 53-man roster, reportedly

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers haven't announced their final 53-man roster yet, but we know what it looks like anyway. Or at least, we know if we can trust the Tampa Bay Times' Greg Auman's reporting -- which squares both with common sense, and what's been reported elsewhere.

Auman initially reported a few individual cuts, but used today's open locker room to just deduce the entire Bucs' 53-man roster -- what with those who have been waived not being present in the locker room. Surprise! And then he posted it all on Twitter, because that's what Auman does.

The most surprising cut the Bucs made is probably fullback Dan Vitale, the team's sixth-round pick who did absolutely nothing this preseason. The team preferred to keep undrafted rookie Alan Cross, who also didn't do all that much.

Another move that everyone saw coming: Kenny Bell got cut. The wide receiver was a pretty promising fifth-round pick, but he missed all of last season with injury, and looked terrible this preseason. Basically, he struggled any time any kind of contact came into the equation.

The Bucs are also keeping a whopping 10 defensive linemen, and the group didn't include the promising young Kourtnei Brown. That's a lot of defensive linemen, which suggests we'll see a very heavy rotation this season.

Here's the Bucs' reported 53-man roster. Keep in mind that this will change as the Bucs are likely to pick players off waivers and sign a few street free agents throughout the season.
