Update: Stocker has been ruled out for the game.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have an injury to report: Luke Stocker had to leave the game against the Arizona Cardinals with an ankle injury, and the Bucs immediately listed him as doubtful to return — which likely means he’s out for the game, and possibly longer.
Stocker is the team’s main blocking tight end, but almost never does anything as a receiver. So the likely result of this injury is that the team’s running game takes a hit, but the passing game may actually get a minor boost — most notably, it’s likely to mean more plays for Austin Seferian-Jenkins, who had a big touchdown catch last year.
Meanwhile, the Bucs trail the Cardinals 7-0 after a little more than one quarter. Stick with us as we cover the rest of the game.
