The Arizona Cardinals have a problem against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers: defensive tackles Robert Nkemdiche and Frostee Rucker are both inactive for today’s game, severely depleting their defensive line quality and depth. They’ll also be missing receiver J.J. Nelson. Nkemdiche was the Cardinals first-round pick this year.

The Cardinals will have veteran guard Evan Mathis suiting up, even though he was listed as questionable and was limited in practice throughout the week.

Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers weren’t forced to hold out any starters for Sunday’s game, even though Robert Ayers was listed as questionable. The team made inactive five rookies and quarterback Ryan Griffin, as they did last week, but also deactivated running back Peyton Barber — Jacquizz Rodgers replaces him.

Buccaneers inactives: QB Ryan Griffin, S Ryan Smith, RB Peyton Barber, LB Devante Bond, T Leonard Wester, DE Channing Ward, G Caleb Benenoch

Cardinals inactives: DT Robert Nkemdiche , WR J.J. Nelson, DT Frostee Rucker, S Marqui Christian, G Cole Toner, DT Olsen Pierre, LB Kareem Martin
