Cardinals missing several starters, Buccaneers healthy

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came out of Sunday’s game with one significant injury: defensive end Jacquies Smith was lost for the season with a torn ACL. Other than that, though, the team is almost entirely healthy heading into Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Linebacker Adarius Glanton is the only player to be limited in today’s practice, while Devante Bond returned to practice after missing Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury.

For the Arizona Cardinals, the most notable absence was guard Evan Mathis, who did not practice with a foot injury after having to leave Sunday’s game. Head coach Bruce Arians said that Mathis was ‘day-to-day’ so he may be able to play against the Bucs.

Larry Fitzgerald was listed as ‘limited’ with a foot injury, but should have no problems suiting up on Sunday. Wide receiver J.J. Nelson, who also had to leave Sunday’s game with an injury, did not participate with a shoulder injury, while veteran defensive lineman Frostee Rucker also has a knee injury keeping him out.
