Watch Charles Sims break ten ankles on one play

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jonathan Dyer-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took a 17-13 lead against the Atlanta Falcons just before the half, and it was all Charles Sims. The third-year running back broke a whole lot of ankles on this one to get into the endzone.

This is why the Bucs drafted Sims in 2014: they thought he could be a special player as a receiving and change of pace back. Lovie Smith compared him to Matt Forte. That may have been a bit hyperbolic, but he’s certainly been worth his draft pick so far.

The Bucs had a rough first half, with an ugly Jameis Winston interception as the second-year quarterback looked a little too excited early on. But they fixed that in the second quarter and look like the better team now. Here’s to hoping they can fix it in the second half!
