The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play Washington in their final game of the 2016 preseason. It will also be the first game of week four of the NFL’s preseason, because severe weather forced the Bucs to move the game to Wednesday night. The 30 other NFL teams play on Thursday night, so the Bucs will have a national audience all to themselves for the second time in a week.
That won’t be all that interesting for most national audiences, though. As it is the fourth and final preseason game, neither team will play their starters for very long, if at all. Washington has already indicated they’ll probably sit most of their starters, and that’s true for the Bucs as well.
Still, we’ll see a few interesting things on Wednesday. A few roster spots might be won or lost, though that’s more likely to be true for practice squad spots than anything else. The Bucs have some possibly undecided spots at wide receiver, defensive tackle and running back that could be interesting, though mostly, standouts just have a better chance of making the practice squad.
Here’s everything you need to know to watch tomorrow’s game.
