Brent Grimes had to leave last night’s game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns with what appeared to be a rib injury, but it looks like he’ll be fine. Dirk Koetter unconvincingly told the media after the game that Grimes was “just tired of playing”, but the veteran cornerback apparently told his wife that he’s okay.
@4self78 thx! he says he's ok.

Grimes didn’t have the best night, giving up a long touchdown to Josh Gordon and potentially being at fault on another big catch by the wideout — though it looked like that was on safety Chris Conte, to me. But with Alterraun Verner failing to stand out and even losing his starting spot to rookie Vernon Hargreaves, the Bucs can’t really afford to lose Grimes for an extended period of time.
We’ll have to wait for an official injury report or statement to know exactly what, if anything, is ailing Grimes though.
